Description

CuriRx, Inc is seeking an enthusiastic, career-minded individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. You will learn and apply a wide range of skills, including mass spectrometry (LC/MS), to characterize biotherapeutics (including biologics and small molecules) from discovery, through clinical development, to commercialization. You will gain experience in “hot topic” areas such as analysis of biologics (e.g. antibodies), vaccines, and gene therapy development or apply any experience you may already have. This is also an exception opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a fast growing company with excellent opportunities for advancement.



Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use LC/MS techniques to analyze proteins and to support formulation and bioprocessing workflows.
  • Perform efficient sample prep, data analysis, develop new analytical methods, optimize current methods and instrumentation, and effectively communicate results to internal and external clients.
  • Document, analyze, interpret, and present analytical testing data in a clear and concise manner

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot, analyze, and interpret analytical data.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, team, and interpersonal skills

Required Qualifications

  • BS, MS, or higher in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, bioengineering, or related field.
  • Some experience using mass spectrometric-based techniques

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing proteins using mass spectrometric-based techniques
  • Experience in drug development, particularly in a CRO or CDMO
  • Experience in maintenance, QC, and troubleshooting of this instrumentation.
